Jungle Terry & Friends show off animals live for children - Telegraph-Forum

Kids enjoy seeing a python, hedgehog, tree frog and more in Shelby event

SHELBY − Families and friends got the chance to bring their kids to the Blackfork Common Amphitheater in Shelby on Wednesday afternoon to get up close and personal with some wild animals.

Jungle Terry and his Furry Friends, who have been a hit on Fox 8 News Morning Show in Cleveland, were brought to town by the Marvin Memorial Library.

"Jungle Terry wasn't hard to book," said Shelly Krystofik, who put together the program. "He was great. We had over 400 people today."

The list of animals that Jungle Terry exhibited in front of plenty of young children and families included a tortoise, a chinchilla from South America, a albino hedgehog from Africa, a ferret from Europe, a chicken from Asia, a tree frog from Australia, a white dove, white pigeon and a double-white stripped skunk.

What caught the audience's attention the most were the three snakes Jungle Terry presented — a corn snake, a white albino snake and a 75-pound python, which had most kids' full attention.
